About this home
Sunset Beach Lodge earns its name every single evening: the living room's large balcony faces the Atlantic exactly where the sun goes down.
Four bedrooms sleep up to eleven. The pool is heated, the fireplace is real, the screen is closer to cinema than television, and the beach — essentials provided — is minutes away. Pool heating is an optional extra, charged at €70 per night. Air conditioning and a barbecue complete the kit.
Viana do Castelo delivers the rest: the old town's granite and tiles, the Santa Luzia basilica above it, seafood that was swimming this morning.

Gorgeous villa with excellent facilities.
Had a wonderful weekend away and the villa was a comfortable place to stay.
Local taxi drivers helped with transport around to local restaurants/ pubs / bars / beaches as the villa is located in a remote area.
Hosts - Portugal Active were absolutely fabulous with communication.

This villa is very well equipped and immaculately clean, with comfy beds and lots of space. It is a nice villa but with a bit of attention could be perfect.
The pool was worth paying to have heated as my kids loved it.
The only negatives were the majority of the patio doors do not open and have all been damaged. The one that does open on balcony required my husband to close it for the outside. They need serious attention. Unfortunately while we were there the front door handle also came off, it
