With a charming design that blends history and tradition, the Armada Lodge is a recently renovated holiday house that treats its original Manueline architecture with care and respect by restoring it with original details and giving its stone structures a more contemporary touch. This hidden treasure was built in 1501, by one of the skippers who accompanied Vasco da Gama to the Horn of Africa, and is entirely made with traditional stonework of the region. Never forgetting the importance of its natural environment, this is a sustainable home that runs through solar heating – it has a swimming pool that is naturally filtered and strategically located at the top of a hill.
