Porto
Porto sits in northern Portugal, where the Douro reaches the Atlantic. Porto and Gaia occupy opposite banks; Foz opens your trip to the sea. The wine-growing Douro is a separate stage, with its own base and pace.
Lisbon
Lisbon is the gateway to very different trips. The city sits by the Tagus; Cascais and Estoril open onto the coast; Sintra and Colares add wooded hills and Atlantic scenery. Choose your base first: these places are not adjoining neighbourhoods.
Alentejo
The Alentejo starts with a choice: coast or countryside. Comporta and Carvalhal invite beach days; Ferreira do Alentejo opens onto farming landscapes, olive oil and traditional singing. Évora and Alqueva deserve a separate stage.
Algarve
